Stephen John Buk, 68, of Daisytown passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
He was born April 27, 1955, a son of the late Steve and Julia Antal Buk.
Stephen was a graduate of the California High School and graduated Cum Laude from the California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in environmental science.
He had worked for a time at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen mill and Klinger Automotive.
Enjoying the simple pleasures in life, he loved to garden, grow vegetables, and try new plant each year.
In life, Stephen always tried to be kind and giving to everyone and had a tender heart. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and football games.
He grew up in Daisytown, but recently was residing in Coal Center with family who loved him.
Surviving are his sisters, Patricia Buk Ross (Dale Ross) of Coal Center and Anna Lee Buk Bryan (the late Sam Bryan) of Chardon, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Gretchen (Joe), Chad (Jen), Todd (Shanna), Matt (Jenn) and Tina (Darrin); great-nieces and nephews, Donny, Alex, Christian, Addison, Brenna (Evan), Jacob, Morgan, Caleb, Brandon, Meadow and Nolan and great-great-nephew, Logan.
Also deceased are his sister, Kathleen Buk and aunt, Helen Buk.
The family asks that everyone pass on a kind act in memory of Steve.
A celebration of life will be held privately by the family.
