Peri, our cat who we very fondly called Peezy, was born in April of 2005 and disappeared from our home in Olympia, Washington on January 30, 2020.
She was adored by everyone who met her. Her mom Taylor was not a cat person until the day she met Peri. Peri chose Taylor the day they met when she jumped into her lap to snuggle. Taylor and Peri were best friends ever since.
Peri moved with Taylor from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 2009. She adjusted well to the warm climates as she enjoyed sunbathing in the sage and roses in the front yard daily. She enjoyed hunting, batting Q-tips around the bathroom floor, eating frozen peas, and snuggling her parents, her dog sister Wynnie and her three human babies Lola, Isla and Rowan. Peri was a very vocal cat. Every time any of her human babies would be heard crying, Peri would come running and meowing until the baby stopped crying.
Peri never met a person she didn't like. She was very trusting and loving. We hope that wherever she is, she is at peace and knows that we will miss her and love her forever.
